The gel mix is the perfect proportion of carbs and sodium to supplement the Flow hydration. I find using the flasks to be much easier to access than having to fuss with gel packs, which are often difficult to open on the fly. Only 4 stars because this stuff is messy when scooping it out of the bag and into the flasks, even with the included funnel scoop.

Finally can mix up exactly the quantity of gu that I need for the planned ride. Best part is there is no sticky foil packaging that I gotta carry along after use.
Stomach ache and headache After using the mix on two rides. Also a terrible mind fog which makes focusing really hard. Not for me.
When I'm outside in the winter Flow Formula's Endurance gel gives me the energy I need without having to drink a lot of water. This helps me train, race, and generally have fun all year.
